Not all sugar is created equal! In fact, there's a huge difference between the sugar we usually buy in the supermarket and this very special sugar produced from the sugar cane. We will learn about "real" brown sugar. Jay from Privateer will talk about the sugar making process and sample his sugar (which we sell at Duck Soup). After talking about sugar, he'll talk about the process of making rum and the different distilling methods, and offer samples. The seminar will end with a cocktail sample.
